The first step: Completing the FAFSA
You may use one of two methods to complete your FAFSA:

Through the website: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.

By mailed paper application: The FAFSA application booklet is available from Cox College, other colleges and universities, and high school counselors. After your application is received by mail by the Federal Processing Center, it will be processes and a Student Aid Report (SAR) will be mailed to you; this process may take four weeks or more. |

Please include the respective school code when filing your FAFSA electronically or by mail so the Financial Aid Office will receive your SAR information.
You must file your FAFSA by April 1 to be eligible for certain types of state aid such as the Missouri Access Grant.
When you receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) back from the FAFSA Federal Processing Center, check it carefully for any errors. If corrections need to be made, please correct your SAR electronically or mail it back to the Federal Processing Center.
